Alan Rosenfield has nearly 34 years’ experience in the securities industry. The firm utilizes Risk-Averse Investing strategies and works with individuals and small corporations that are tired of dealing with “too big to fail” advisors who often lack objectivity, customization, candor or consistency.
The firm’s goal is to develop and implement strategies that help investors meet their long and short term financial goals while being cognizant of their risk comfort levels.
The firm focuses on fundamentals when analyzing investments utilizing a GARP (Growth At a Reasonable Price) style. We manage portfolios using individual stocks and bonds, as well as ETFs and mutual funds.
Since 1993 he has been the Chief Investment Officer and Managing Director at Harmony and its predecessor firm. In addition, Mr. Rosenfield served as Manager of the Pacific Advisors Income Fund, a public mutual fund, from 1993-1995 and achieved the #1 ranking in his category by Morningstar.
Prior to Harmony Mr. Rosenfield managed the high net-worth group at Cantor Fitzgerald & Co., Inc., in New York City, reporting directly to the President Howard Lutnick and CEO Bernie Cantor. Mr. Rosenfield began his career as a Registered Representative at Dean Witter Reynolds in 1983.
Mr. Rosenfield has done extensive public speaking, television, and writing on investment strategies, and has been quoted multiple times by publications including BusinessWeek, Barron’s, Investor’s Business Daily, The Street.com, The Arizona Republic, and USA Today.
Mr. Rosenfield graduated from Washington University of St. Louis with a Bachelor of Science in 1982 and is a member of the several professional societies also serves on various civic and charitable organizations.
